With Becky Hendricks at Windsor Historical Society’s Strong-Howard House.
Don’t miss this eggs-tra special NEW program. Eggs have been a staple in the American diet for centuries. In this session, you’ll learn to prepare them in a variety of colonial methods that result in sumptuous dishes that may sound both familiar (Egg and Bacon Pie, a hearty quiche) or unfamiliar (Collops and Eggs with Sauce Isigny, think Eggs Benedict on a bed of spinach). Learn more about Everlasting Syllabub and try a little Pain Perdue or Toad in the Hole.
Our hearth cooking programs sell out fast, so be sure to register today! (Note: your registration date determines the order in which you get to pick amongst the selected dishes, so register early!) Please advise us of any food allergies.
$55 per person plus estimated $10-15 food costs. Must register by May 8.
