Start the holiday season right with Windsor Historical Society’s pre-holiday dinner and auction on Saturday, November 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. You’ll find terrific items to bid on, and many opportunities to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.
This year’s affair featuring a sit-down meal with your choice of beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages will be held at The Lodge at 130 Deerfield Road in Windsor. Tickets ($40 in advance, $45 at the door) are available at:
- the Society (96 Palisado Avenue)
- Ashleys’ Distinctive Jewelry (555 Day Hill Road)
- Jordan Florist (10 Palisado Avenue)
- Windsor Federal Savings’ Central Branch (250 Broad Street)
We’ll even hold a pre-reserved ticket at the door for you at the $40 price if you let us know beforehand. Or just show up and we’ll be happy to sell you a ticket at the door price of $45. Auction proceeds support the Society’s programs for children and adults, so save the date and plan on a night out that does a world of good for Windsor Historical Society!
Check out our list of auction items, which is growing every day.
There’s always a chance for screaming bargains – that is part of the fun! But there’s also a chance to feel good by doing good: finding that memorable gift for a friend or loved one, sponsoring a Windsor family in need, or by funding a school bus for $55 to bring students to Windsor Historical Society. Your attendance and bids support The Society’s school and public programs. Hope to see you there! And if you can’t make it but have fallen for something on our auction list, contact Christine Ermenc cermenc@windsorhistoricalsociety.org or 860-688-3813 x. 101 to leave a bid.
