Have you always been curious about that one house? You know the one. Support Windsor Historical Society’s bi-annual fundraiser and explore a striking selection of beautifully and creatively furnished Windsor residences. This year’s collection of homes represents a range of time periods and styles.
Volunteers Needed!
We are seeking friendly volunteers who enjoy meeting people to help with this special one-day event drawing hundreds to Windsor. Volunteer hosts are needed at each home to make visitors feel welcome, provide brief interpretation on interior architectural details and keep an eye on the homeowner’s furnishings and collectibles.
Volunteers are asked to make a two-hour commitment as well as attend the training session. Shifts are short because many volunteers want the option of taking the tour themselves. We can accommodate groups of friends who want to volunteer together, so please share this request with friends and neighbors.
We offer all volunteers a FREE ticket to the house tour and an invitation to the Homeowner and Volunteer Appreciation After-Party.
The tour is a major fundraiser for the Society, supporting public programs for schoolchildren and adults and the operation of our historic houses, research library, and exhibition galleries.
