Meet at Windsor Historical Society’s museum to join horticulturist Gordon Kenneson for an amble down historic North Meadow Road—a route within the original highway from Hartford to Springfield—along the edge of the Farmington River. Learn about the area’s early history and about plants used in 18th-century medicine. The tour will conclude at Dr. Hezekiah Chaffee’s apothecary at the 1767 Hezekiah Chaffee house on Palisado Green.
