Windsor Historical Society by-laws call for an annual membership meeting each June to approve the selection of Board officers. Before the COVID-19 outbreak, we announced this year’s annual meeting and lecture would occur on June 17. As Windsor gradually re-opens, we want to offer a live event that is safe and fun.

You are invited to our first ‘Social-Distancing’ Annual Meeting and Program, featuring: Bob Bell’s Let’s Eat! A History of Dining Out in Windsor

This will take place behind the Chaffee House at 108 Palisado Avenue.

There are two ways to participate:

Drive-in and park behind the Chaffee House to enjoy the program from the comfort of your car, with windows open and engines off.

OR:

Lawn chairs. Up to 50 people may bring lawn chairs or blankets and sit on the grass (6 feet apart) to enjoy the program.

8:30 – 8:45 Annual meeting
8:45 – 9:45 Presentation, Let’s Eat! A History of Dining Out in Windsor

Please bring your own:
– Face masks
– Insect repellent and long sleeves
– Folding chair (if needed)
– Refreshments
