Do you love kids and teaching? Can you give us four or five morning/early afternoons of your choice during April and May? Then Windsor Historical Society needs you because school field trip season is coming right up! Join us for a special volunteer training session on Tuesday, March 5th, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Learn more about our popular school field trip programs, and see what we do with students in our galleries, historic homes, and in our historic neighborhood.
During the training session, we’ll distribute and review the lesson plans for our field trips and walk through a few of the activities you’d be leading. Becoming an education volunteer does NOT require previous teaching experience or other special qualifications. As long as you enjoy working with students and doing active volunteering, you’ll fit right in. Bring a bag lunch and we’ll provide coffee and dessert.
