James Selig of James Selig Estate Jewelry and Antiques will offer a program addressing a challenge that many seniors and their adult children face: what to do with the stuff the kids don’t want?
In the last few decades, the antiques and collectibles market has shifted from large colonial and Victorian style furniture to smaller items. The younger crowd is not much interested in silver, ceramics, and glassware, and more interested in things from the 1950s and 1960s. So how best to find new homes for family treasures no longer wanted by younger family members? This is the theme of Selig’s Thursday night program.
