It is finally summertime, a great time to get out and explore Windsor’s outdoors with family and friends using TourWindsorCT.org which features fascinating attractions, dining and purchasing options. And this summer there’s even more: painted rocks for you to find, photograph and share at many of the TourWindsorCT.org locations. Help start the summer off right and come to our rock painting party on Thursday, July 12 from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at the Windsor Historical Society.  We’ll provide rocks, painting supplies, gloss, delicious refreshments, and instruction and inspiration if you need it. You supply the creativity!

Then discover what a great place Windsor is by taking your painted rock to a location of your choice featured on TourWindsorCT.org. Take a photo of you and your rock, then leave the rock for someone else to find. And if you miss the painting party, don’t despair. From July 13^th through August 23rd, just paint a rock at home, visit TourWindsorCT.org locations to find a place to leave it and take a picture for posting with the hashtag #tourwindsorrocks, and tag us @tourwindsorct.
