Stories from Cherished Hopes and Honorable Ambition:

A Centennial History of the Loomis Chaffee School

March 8       2 PM to 3:30 PM

Who were the founders of Loomis and what were their dreams in founding the school?  What are some of the highlights of the Loomis Chaffee School’s first century?  What impact has the school had on its students and faculty? Co-authors and editors, former Headmaster John Ratté and Archivist and History teacher Karen Parsons will share stories from and discuss the questions and research that inspired the book.  Books will be available for sale and signing after the talk. This is the last in a series of programs offered by the Loomis Chaffee School and by Windsor Historical Society to commemorate the Loomis Chaffee School's centennial year.  It will take place in the Gilchrist Auditorium in the Clark Science Center at the Loomis Chaffee School.  Cost:  FREE. For more information, contact the Society at 860/688-3813.
