We are happy to discuss potential donations.  Should you wish to donate books or papers to the library, please note the following guidelines:

• Contact our librarian at (860) 688-3813 or by email at bgoodwin@windsorhistoricalsociety.org if you are considering a donation.  Please do not send materials in the mail without first discussing them with our librarian.

• Books and papers should relate to Windsor history, Windsor genealogy, or the object collections of the Windsor Historical Society.

• Our Collections Committee comprised of staff, board members, community members, and outside curators meets four times per year to review potential acquisitions.  For items that are accepted into the collection, formal transfer of ownership to the Society is accomplished by a Deed of Gift agreement.
