Windsor Historical Society Seeks Sponsors for Leonard Hellerman Photographs

On May 6th from 5 – 7 p.m., Windsor Historical Society is delighted to open Windsor – A Photographer’s Vision, featuring 18 by 24 inch framed images of Windsor landscapes and people taken by Windsor photographer Leonard Hellerman. The images are printed using pigmented inks with exceptional qualities of permanence on archival-quality fine art paper, providing a keepsake to last for generations.

The Society is looking for Gold Level ($1000) and Silver Level ($500) sponsors of the framed photographs.   All sponsors will be listed prominently beneath the images and in exhibition program press releases.  Sponsors will also receive a letter detailing the amount of the contribution that qualifies for tax purposes.  When the exhibition ends in November, the framed image they have chosen to sponsor is theirs -- just in time for a very special holiday gift.

Gold sponsors may choose any image that appeals to them.   Silver sponsors may choose any image which has not already been sponsored, so a quick response to Executive Director Christine Ermenc at 860-688-3813 x. 101 or  will maximize the chances of obtaining the image of choice.

Programs related to the exhibition include a community photography contest open to the greater Windsor community and a 2011 illustrated calendar.  The exhibition and related programs are supported by the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism and the National Endowment for the Arts, The George A. and Grace L. Long Foundation, and Greater Hartford Arts Council.
