Windsor Historical Society’s auction is the first event of the holiday season with terrific items to bid on, a lovely and delicious sit-down meal with a choice of beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages, and many opportunities to catch up with old friends and meet new ones!

This year’s affair will be held at The Lodge at 130 Deerfield Road in Windsor on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 6 to 9 p.m.  Tickets ($40 in advance, $45 at the door) are available at the Society (96 Palisado Avenue), Ashleys’ Distinctive Jewelry (555 Day Hill Road), Jordan Florist (10 Palisado Avenue), and Windsor Federal Savings’ Central Branch (250 Broad Street). Auction proceeds support the Society’s programs for schoolchildren, families, and adults.

We have found that people bid eagerly on things like:

  • children’s items
  • event tickets
  • garden, health, and beauty items and services
  • pet services
  • restaurant gift certificates
  • prepared meals
  • time at hotels, resorts, and vacation homes
  • small household items and jewelry
  • themed gift baskets

If you have any of these things to offer, please contact Christine Ermenc at 860-688-3813 x.101.

Auction donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and all auction donors will be acknowledged by letter, on our website, and in the auction booklet.
